Julie Burke has joined The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago as chief financial officer and executive vice president. She comes to the YMCA from a similar position at Sisters of Mercy Health System, where she directed the financial accounting, reporting, analysis and budgeting processes and provided financial counsel on operational and strategic matters. Before joining Mercy, she was a senior manager in the health care practice at KPMG LLP. Burke, 47, is a CPA and has a B.S. in accounting from Marquette University and an M.A. in health services management from Webster University.
