Marc Cavan has joined Ropes & Gray as a partner in the intellectual property litigation practice in the firm's Chicago office. Cavan previously was a partner at Sidley Austin, focusing on patent litigation for medical device and life sciences companies. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.S. in biology from Duke University.
