Christopher M. Crane, 51, has been elected a director of Aleris International, an aluminum producer, extruder and recycler, and parent Aleris Holding Co.<br>

Crane is president and chief operating officer of <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORCRP017246" title="Exelon Corp." href="/topic/economy-business-finance/energy-resource-industries/exelon-corp.-ORCRP017246.topic">Exelon Corp.</a>, a major electric company, and president of  Exelon Generation, the nation's largest owner/operator of nuclear power plants.<br>

He joined Exelon (then ComEd) in 1998 and was named chief nuclear officer in 2004. In 2007 he assumed responsibility for Exelon's fossil, hydro and renewables facilities. Before that, he was a vice president with the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORCRP015081" title="Tennessee Valley Authority" href="/topic/economy-business-finance/tennessee-valley-authority-ORCRP015081.topic">Tennessee Valley Authority</a>.

Crane is president and chief operating officer of Exelon Corp., a major electric company, and president of Exelon Generation, the nation's largest owner/operator of nuclear power plants.

He joined Exelon (then ComEd) in 1998 and was named chief nuclear officer in 2004. In 2007 he assumed responsibility for Exelon's fossil, hydro and renewables facilities. Before that, he was a vice president with the Tennessee Valley Authority.
