Kevin Gilbert has joined TRIS3CT, an independent marketing agency, as chief strategy officer. He will direct the agencys research and account planning. A 15-year ad industry veteran, Gilbert, 43, comes to TRIS3CT from Arc Worldwide/Leo Burnett, where he was a vice president, strategic planning director responsible for brand, promotional, digital and retail strategy for McDonalds on such products as the angus burger and Snack Wraps. He also held research and strategy positions with D.S. Howard and Associates, a pharmaceutical and health care consultancy, and Leo Burnett/LB Works. His clients have included Bristol-Meyers Squib, Delta Air Lines, Hallmark and Disney. Gilbert has a Ph.D. in applied social psychology from Loyola University Chicago, an M.S. in industrial/organizational psychology from Purdue University and a B.S. with a dual major in radio/TV/film and psychology from Indiana State University.
