Dr. Birinder S. Marwah has been named executive medical director of Passages Hospice, responsible for will leading Interdisciplinary Guideline teams to evaluate patient needs and ensure the highest medical standards are met. Marwah, 51, is board certified in geriatrics and internal medicine, with special interests in hospice and palliative care. He is currently section head of Geriatric and Director of the Acute Care Geriatric Unit at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. He received his medical degree at King George Medical College in India in 1978 and completed an internship and residency at Grant Hospital in Chicago.
