Steven W. Stroker, a 28-year industry veteran and former complex manager for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, has joined the wealth management firm Baird as a regional director for the central region, which includes Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and most of Illinois. At Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Stroker oversaw more than 220 financial advisors in 10 branch offices managing $17 billion in client assets. His career in the financial service industry spans nearly 30 years. A resident of Hinsdale, Stroker earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and an MBA from Northwestern Universitys Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
