Daniel L. Dever has returned to The Children's Place Association as director of development. Dever originally held the post at the Chicago-based nonprofit that provides support to children and families suffering from HIV/AIDS or other life-changing health conditions from 1991 to 2002. Dever brings more than 23 years of experience to the position. He has held director positions at Chicago's SGA Youth and Family Services, the Family Institute at Northwestern University in Evanston and Howard Brown Health Center in Chicago. Most recently Dever was development director for The Youth Campus, an organization in Park Ridge dedicated to helping abused and neglected children. Dever has a B.A. from Michigan State University.
