( August 13, 2012 ) Jeffrey Olin has been hired as managing director for Alvarez & Marsal Taxand. He will be focusing on international tax planning, accounting and compliance, tax technology implementation, acquisition due diligence, treasury coordination, and cross-border planning. Previously, Olin was vice president - tax for Fortune Brands. Before that, he served as a national managing partner in international tax with Grant Thornton and was an international tax partner in Chicago with McDermott, Will & Emery and Arthur Andersen. Olin earned a Bachelor's degree from Carroll University, a law degree from Marquette University Law School and a Master's degree from DePaul University College of Law. He is a CPA. |
