Katrina A. Crafton has been promoted to partner in the Chicago office of McDermott Will & Emery LLP. She focuses her practice on a broad range of estate and wealth transfer planning issues. Crafton advises high net worth clients on all aspects of estate planning, including federal and state estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax matters, trust and estate administration, and leveraged wealth transfer techniques. She also advises gay, lesbian and unmarried couples with regard to their unique estate and tax planning issues. Finally, Crafton has extensive experience representing guardians of the person and estate of both minors and disabled adults. Crafton earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law. She holds a Bachelor's degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
