Constance M. Filling has been named chief education officer for American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. She will design, develop, deliver and structure a strategy to support a multi-dimensional education program that is aligned with the mission and the vision of the AAOS. Previously, Filling served for more than a decade at the College of American Pathologists. She began as the vice president of education in 2002; from 2005 to this year she served in the role of vice president of education and publications. From 1986 to 2002, she served at Arthur Andersen, LLP at their global learning center. Filling has a Bachelor's degree from Cornell College and a Master's degree from the University of Chicago.
