The Illinois Hospital Association has appointed Patrick Gallagher, 49, group vice president of health delivery and payment systems. Gallagher is responsible for initiating and responding to key proposals for the transformation of Illinois health care. Gallagher comes to IHA from the Illinois State Medical Society where he was vice president of health policy research and advocacy. He has an MBA from Northwestern University and a bachelor¿s degree in business administration from DePaul University.
