Deborah Long, 52, has been promoted to managing director in the Chicago office of KPMG LLP. A tax managing director in the state and local tax practice, Long significant experience performing transaction tax compliance and also other consulting services including refund and credit analysis for clients in a variety of industries including the motion picture and entertainment industry. Long also assists clients in many aspects of sales and transaction tax consulting, including refund and credit analysis, audit representation management and transaction planning, and conducting diagnostic reviews of the transaction tax process. Long earned a Bachelor's degree and an MBA from California State University.
