T. Marsha Ma, MD, has joined Loyola University Health System's cardiology team as a pediatric cardiologist. She also is an assistant professor in the department of pediatrics at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. Her medical interests include pediatric cardiology, adult and adolescent congenital heart disease, lipid abnormalities and obesity. She is active in research and is working with a team at Loyola to do more research into pediatric obesity. She has completed research in the past looking at using 3-dimensional echocardiography to evaluate the right ventricular function before and after an exercise stress test. She earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology fellowship at Ann & Robert Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago.
