William C. McGaghie has been named the director of The Loyola University Chicago Health Sciences Division's Leischner Institute. He will hold joint appointments at Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine and Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing. He will guide educational research and interprofessional programs which bring together future physicians, nurses and medical researchers. McGaghie also will provide vision, direction and coordination of faculty educational research programs, initiatives and policies. Before joining Loyola, McGaghie was the Jacob R. Suker, MD, Professor of Medical Education and a professor of Preventive Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He also was a member of the Northwestern University Graduate faculty.
