John T. Orloff has accepted a position as senior vice president at Hillard Heintze. Orloff has domestic and international experience in executive protection, threat assessment, complex financial investigations, transportation security and crisis management. Most recently, he served as the assistant special agent in charge of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Office of Law Enforcement. After the events of 9/11, he managed and was responsible for developing strategies to safeguard public transportation throughout the Midwestern United States. From 1983 to 2003, Orloff served in a variety of leadership and management roles at the U.S. Secret Service.
