Dan Pooley has been promoted to managing partner at Finn Partners. He joined the Ruder Finn Group in 2009 as managing director of the Chicago office, and oversaw the transition and launch of Finn Partners Chicago in 2012. In his elevated role, Pooley will continue to lead the agency's Midwest operations and help guide the strategic growth and development of the agency overall. At Finn Partners Chicago, Pooley heads a client roster that spans B2B technology clients and B2C consumer and technology clients. Client work spans integrated brand marketing, corporate reputation, CSR, and analyst and influencer relations across traditional, digital and social channels, coordinating with the firm's state-of-the-art digital practice in New York. Formerly, Pooley was SVP and client relationship leader for the National Milk Mustache "got milk?" campaign at Weber Shandwick. He spent more than 8 years at Weber Shandwick with client work that includes Allstate, KFC, Unilever, the National Pork Board, the Wood Promotion Network, The Quaker Oats Company and Fannie May Candies. Pooley was previously head of the Chicago PR office of integrated agency Cramer-Krasselt, where he led clients such as GSK, MASCO, Alberto-Culver (now Unilever), AirTran Airways, UNO Chicago Grill, General Mills and Whirlpool. His agency and client experience also includes Starbuck's, Goya Foods, Darden Restaurants and the Culinary Institute of America at Edelman NYC; and P&G, Nike and the American Dry Bean Board at MSLGroup in Chicago.
