Barbara Seigfreid, 27, has been promoted to account executive at AbelsonTaylor. She will be working on products for the treatment of hepatitis C and lupus.

Since joining AbelsonTaylor in 2011, Seigfreid has worked on a number of product launches and in a wide array therapeutic categories, including psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, insomnia, oncology and hematology.

She came to AbelsonTaylor from Chicago-based Panthera Global, Inc., a healthcare-focused boutique investment bank. As marketing and research manager, she consulted with clients on mergers, acquisitions and financial transactions. She also prepared pitch books and performed market research.

Seigfreid received a Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University.
