Carrie Spitler has been appointed executive director of Snow City Arts. She will lead the organization and work with the board of directors to define its vision and strategy and expand its mission to provide services to more children and increase the number of participating hospitals. Spitler joins Snow City arts after 10 years with the Neighborhood Writing Alliance. She is currently a member of the steering committee of the Southside Arts and Humanities Network and the Chicago Literary Advisory Council of the American Writers Museum. Prior to joining the NWA, Spitler was the director of development at Access Living. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University.
