Thomas M. Lynch of Faegre Baker Daniels LLP has been appointed to a 14-year term as U.S. Bankruptcy Judge in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Western Division. Lynch joined Faegre Baker Daniels in 2008. As a business litigator, he has counseled and represented entities ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to privately held firms in business disputes and commercial matters since 1984. Lynch is an adjunct professor of law at Northwestern University School of Law and a faculty member with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Lynch practiced law at Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon where he was a partner. He began his legal career in litigation and bankruptcy at Winston & Strawn. Lynch has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton and a master's degree from the University of Chicago.
