Heather Wilson has been appointed executive vice president and director of Ogilvy Public Relations' Chicago Corporate Group. She will be directly involved in shaping strategy and executing programs for clients as well as overseeing management of the corporate group and leading business development initiatives. Wilson spent the past six years at Weber Shandwick where she ran the West Coast corporate and crisis management practice based out of Los Angeles. She was also the global lead for the agency's digital crisis management and brand defense team. Before embarking on her agency career, she was a financial journalist, most recently with Dow Jones MarketWatch. Wilson received her Bachelor's degree Southern Methodist University and her Master's degree from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication.
