Health care advertising agenct AbelsonTaylor has hired consumer advertising executive Beverly Wright as vice president and account director. Wright will be responsible for a major nutrition account and will also play a lead role in developing new consumer business for AbelsonTaylor. Wright joins AbelsonTaylor from Chicago-based Leo Burnett Company, where she was senior vice president/account director and led the agency's North America McDonald's business. She previously served as global brand leader for the agency's Tampax business for Procter & Gamble. Wright has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor's in advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
