Robert Muller, AIA, LEED AP joined SCB in 2005 to work on the design of commercial, residential, and institutional projects. In collaboration with Principals, he develops design concepts, and coordinates input from consultant teams to deliver integrated, high performance buildings. His current work includes a new 45-story residential tower at 500 North Lakeshore Drive, and the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing for the Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, which is designed to achieve LEED Gold rating. Mr. Muller has served as a jury member at the Illinois Institute of Technology, the University of Illinois Chicago and the University of Illinois. He has presented Energy Modeling to the United States Green Building Council, as well as led SCB efforts in support of community initiatives, such as the Greater Chicago Food Depository (2011 CANstruction competition). Mr. Muller is also a member of the Associate Board of City Year Chicago. Mr. Muller earned his Bachelors of Architecture with honors from the University of Cincinnati in 1998. He joined SCB from Murphy/Jahn, Inc. in 2005.
