The principals of design-focused production studio Leviathan announced the addition of Tim Sepulveda in the new role of design director. A Chicago native, Sepulveda is a 2005 graduate of the Illinois Institute of Art-Schaumburg, where he studied 3D animation. His first full-time job was with Chicago's Radar Studios, where his contributions to spots for Nintendo, Hasbro, Nickelodeon and others quickly propelled him into project leadership roles. From there, he spent one year with Daily Planet as lead designer and animator, another year with Foundation Post in a similar role, and he freelanced for several other top area shops, including eatdrink. In 2009, he was recruited to join Charlex in New York, where he began as a senior designer and was soon named associate creative director. Through his extensive knowledge of 3D modeling, animation and lighting, and his leadership, he contributed to high-profile projects for Verizon, Marshalls, Dunkin Donuts, Disney and Fidelity.
