"I would certainly welcome him to the Radio Hall of Fame — as I have an award to give him," said Radio Hall of Fame chairman Bruce DuMont on Saturday by email. Although Stern used his radio show to question DuMont's credibility on the air, DuMont said he would reach out to Stern's agent and NBC to personally invite him to the Hall of Fame.
While Stern is in Rosemont filming "America's Got Talent," his Sirius XM show will replay old episodes. And Abe Kanan, whose Chicago-based "The Abe Kanan Show" airs on Stern's Sirius channel Thursdays and Fridays, said it's unlikely Stern will appear on his show.
