Chicago sports 101

If I'd been 11 instead of 31 and I'd been wandering through the Cubs Convention, this book called Chicago's 100 Greatest Sports Heroes would have been at the top of my must-leave-with list. It looks old school but was actually published in 2011 and includes an entry on Derrick Rose. The book is split into sections on the greatest Cubs, White Sox, Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks and native Chicagoans.

The Cubs who made the book? Ernie Banks, Jack Brickhouse, Mordecai "Three Finger" Brown, Harry Caray, Frank Chance, Kiki Cuyler, Andre Dawson, Johnny Evers, Gabby Harnett, Ferguson Jenkins, Greg Maddux, Ryne Sandberg, Ron Santo, Sammy Sosa, Bruce Sutter, Joe Tinker, Billy Williams and Hack Wilson.
