Anne Hathaway has been all over TV this week promoting her new movie "One Day," which would be annoying if she weren't so darn likeable. She's like us, only famous (or so we'd like to think). We'll admit we're jealous she gets to attend glamorous film premieres in drool-worthy gowns, but we don't begrudge her success because she's also been striking all the right chords in public. Here are five reasons why Miss Hathaway is having the best week ever. ARIEL@TRIBUNE.COM | @MISSARIEL
1. She's a surprisingly competent rapper.
Yeah, this typically chic gal can drop a few rhymes. Hathaway told Conan O'Brien that the paparazzi have been intense as she films "The Dark Knight Rises" in Pittsburgh, so she made up a rap inspired by Lil Wayne. It starts with the line, "I'm a paparazzi, I don't play no Yahtzee."
2. She's got to be close to wrapping up "Dark Knight" shooting.
In other words, she's almost done subsisting on her Selena Kyle/Catwoman diet of "kale and dust," as she described it on "Chelsea Lately" on Wednesday.
3. She may be off the hook fortheOscars.
Billy Crystal hinted this week that he'd like to host again. The quicker we move on from whatever that was with James Franco, the better.
4. She has a dirty sense of humor.
Hathaway mooned her hunky co-star Jim Sturgess on the set of "One Day," but, whoops, she said other lucky folks also caught a glimpse. "I decided to be a little naughty and go for it, and it blew right up in my face," she told "Today's" Matt Lauer.
5. Even after all this, she still seems totally normal and relatable.
To prep for her Catwoman role, she told Interview, "I actually had this moment when I convinced one of the assistant directors on the London portion of the film to get a cat with me." It didn't work out, so she says she "turned to YouTube" for cat videos. (So do we!)Copyright © 2015, Los Angeles Times
