Just in time for the West Coast snow season, BMW is unveiling a skier-oriented Powder Ride Edition of its popular X1 compact crossover at the L.A. show.
Featuring specialized equipment installed by ski manufacturer K2, the limited-run Powder Ride Edition will only be on sale through the winter. It features aluminum satinated roof rails plus a specially designed roof box that offers around 16 cubic feet of extra cargo room.
Available in four color schemes and featuring a bold X-shaped decal centered on the rear passenger doors, the Powder Ride Edition appropriately comes with BMW’s Cold Weather Package as standard. Inside are all-weather floor mats; a fitted luggage compartment mat; a ski and snowboard bag; and a pair of exclusively designed K2 LTD Powder Ride skis (in the form of an online coupon). Base price for the X1 xDrive28i Powder Ride is $44,390, while the more powerful X1 xDrive35i Powder Ride sells for $47,795.
