The Roy and Patricia Disney Family Cancer Center at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank has ushered in a new era in cancer care for Californians. The Cancer Center brings together some of the most advanced technology in radiation oncology along with state-of-the-art medical and surgical oncology, excellent clinical outcomes that exceed national averages for many kinds of cancer, clinical research and an amazing array of support services, resources and complementary therapies that few cancer centers across the country offer.

Customized care is provided for the whole patient — body, mind and spirit — allowing patients to focus on their top priority: triumphing over cancer.

The new Roy and Patricia Disney Family Cancer Center is the first of its kind in the San Fernando Valley. This signature cancer center is designed to focus on human touch and interaction, to promote healing through nurturing spaces inside and out, and to empower patients through information and education.

As a comprehensive center, it offers not only experienced, caring physicians and highly advanced equipment, but services beyond the norm like special programs for adolescents and young adults; a personal appearance center; yoga, tai chi and meditation classes; acupressure, acupuncture and massage to ease the stressors of cancer treatment; a resource library; an on-site pharmacy; and nurse navigators to help bring it all together for patients.
