Elsewhere, Virginia's own Dave Matthews Band is returning to the summer concert circuit after taking 2011 off. The band will kick off its tour May 18 in Woodlands, Texas, and continue hitting major concert stages until it arrives back in the Old Dominion for shows Saturday, June 16 in Bristow and Sunday, June 17 (

The band, who performed together at the 2012 GRAMMY Awards, will also release a new studio album and commemorative 50th Anniversary catalog with Capitol/EMI.
On Tuesday, July 3rd at 8:00PM the Beach Boys will take the stage at Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach. Fireworks will immediately follow the show and will be provided by Dominion Fireworks.

The Beach Boys have recorded new songs for the as-yet-untitled album to be released in 2012. It will be the first to feature all of the band's surviving original members in decades and is being produced by Brian Wilson and executive produced by Mike Love.

Dave Matthews Band returns to the road this summer with an extensive North American summer tour launching on May 18 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Woodlands, TX.
