Cake Boss coming to Norfolk in November

The Cake Boss is coming to town.

Buddy Valastro, the baker and star of TLC’s “Cake Boss,” will present an interactive show at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3 in Norfolk’s Chrysler Hall. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 10.

In his “Bakin’ with the Boss” tour, Valastro will share behind-the-scene stories of his hit TV series and colorful Italian family, answer audience questions, and give a live demonstration of his cooking techniques. He’ll also invite audience members to join him onstage.

“Cake Boss” began its fifth season May 30 on the TLC network. The show celebrates his signature desserts and family moments occurring in Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken, N.J. Spin-off shows have included “Next Great Baker” and “The Kitchen Boss.”

In November, Valastro will release his second book, “Baking with the Cake Boss: 100 of Buddy’s Best Recipes and Decorating Secrets.”
