Cirque du Soleil's mix of dance, acrobatics and visual storytelling has thrilled audiences across the globe. The company's new hit is "Immortal," a show which is built around the music of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Today, promoters announced that the show will play Hampton Coliseum on Tuesday, May 8.
Tickets, which range in price from $50 to $250, go on sale to the general public through Ticketmaster at noon, March 5. For a week starting today, members of the Cirque Club have access to tickets through www.cirqueclub.com.
"Aimed at lifelong fans as well as those experiencing Michael’s creative genius for the first time, the show captures the essence, soul and inspiration of the King of Pop, celebrating a legacy that continues to transcend generations," a press release says. "The Immortal world tour takes place in a fantastical realm where we discover Michael’s inspiration and the wellspring of his creativity. The secrets of Michael’s inner world are unlocked—his love of music and dance, fairy tale and magic, and the fragile beauty of nature."
