What's the motivation for this musical frenzy? Devinney, who does promotions for Firefly vodka, has linked up with Music 4 More, a Baltimore-based charity that helps find instruments for struggling school music programs across the nation.
"The music program at Oscar Smith Middle School is in dire need of help," Devinney said. "We want to help get them the new instruments they need to get the program up and running ... We need to raise close to $4,000. That's our goal. I'm confident we'll get that."
Most of the acts performing are donating their time and talent to the cause, Devinney said.
"I was in a school band," he said. "If I wasn't, then I wouldn't have ended up the person I am today. Music is really important."
