( Joe Fudge / June 1, 2012 ) The workers at the Hampton Krispy Kreme are doing their best to keep up with the people buying their doughnuts this morning. The Salvation Army created the holiday to celebrate women who gave troops doughnuts during World War I 1914 to 1918. Krispy Kreme is offering customers a free doughnut of any variety today. |
