Cedric Peerman, a sixth-round pick, signed a three-year, $1.2 million deal with the Ravens that included a $78,000 signing bonus.
Peerman played 41 games with 18 starts over his Virginia career, becoming the 36th Cavalier to rush for over 1,000 career yards, finishing with a total of 1,749 yards on the ground with 15 TDs, adding to that 1,256 yards from 50 KORs and 67 receptions for 344 yards and 1 TD.
Peerman's 3,349 all-purpose yards rank 10th in Virginia history. His career-long 79-yard run vs. East Carolina in 2008 tied Ray Brown (vs. Hampden-Sydney, 1946) and Barry Word (vs. Georgia Tech, 1985) for the 7th-longest run from scrimmage in Cavalier history.
