Clouds move in obscuring the moon Thursday evening over Carroll Farms in Isle of Wight. The cloud cover aided farmers by keeping dew off of cotton so they continue harvesting their crop in advance of the Hurricane Sandy. On Thursday Carroll farms still had about 300 acres to go. If all goes well Brian Carroll thinks he can get in about 90% of his cotton before the storm hits. As of 9:30 AM Friday, farmers had harvested another 30 acres with more to go.
