Ice Bridge

The HU-25C flew first to Thule, Greenland, for research flights before moving to Kangerlussuaq in the south. Scientists from Goddard, Langley and NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C., arrived in Thule via military aircraft. The Falcon is a new NASA aircraft, donated to NASA from the Coast Guard in November 2011. IceBridge will be the Falcon's first science flights.
