Norfolk’s three-game winning streak ended with a loss at Adirondack in Glens Falls, N.Y., where the Phantoms -- the Philadelphia Flyers' top affiliate -- scored three goals in the third period.
The Admirals fell to 18-22-2-1 despite goals from Peter Holland, in his first game since the Anaheim Ducks reassigned him to Norfolk, and Dan Sexton.
Jason Akeson broke the tie with a slap shot for a power-play goal 6:46 into the final period. Rob Bordson's wrist shot made it 4-2 at 14:14, and Shane Harper scored into an empty net at 17:53 for Adirondack (18-21-2-1).

The Admirals signed forward Brayden Irwin, 25, to a pro tryout contract. The former University of Vermont player has 14 goals and 15 assists in 37 games with the ECHL’s Florida Everblades.
Irwin took two shots Friday against Adirondack but had no other statistics.
