WHAT DOES YOUR TEAM HAVE TO DO TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
Grafton has a strong core of returners this year. They are comfortable with each other out on the field which makes the game flow better. I want them to focus on one game at a time. The worst thing a team can do is overlook an opponent because they are too focused on the next game. As long as the girls keep their minds on the game at hand I have no doubt we will be successful.

WHAT DOES YOUR TEAM HAVE TO DO TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
Good core of girls returning from last year and talented young mix of underclassmen. Our defense needs to be our backbone as we look for veteran players in the midfield to lead and new young faces to spark the offense. The young talent needs to be able to step in with the veteran leadership we have in place and we have the potential to be competitive. As long as we stay healthy, the ladies have the potential, talent, and heart to be competitive in the challenging Bay Rivers District.

ANY SIGNIFICANT NEWCOMERS NOT LISTED ABOVE?
Midfielder Lindsey Williams(9)(Ashley's little sister)

WHAT DOES YOUR TEAM HAVE TO DO TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
Overall we should be better than last year. Very strong down the middle with Williams on top, Wolfe in the center, Giblin and Howell as stopper and sweeper and Hobe in goal. We can score. Only lost 2 starting seniors from last year, both defenders, so defense will make the difference this year. If you have a perfect defense, the worst you can do is tie. We are also lack depth so we have to avoid injuries. This is the first year we have had a JV since the school opened
