Prepared for LSU's lone senior Adrienne Webb, the Lady Pirates limited her to seven points and 26 minutes of play. Webb struggled against Hampton's offense, receiving four personal fouls.

Theresa Plaisance led the Tigers with 18 points, 11 rebounds, three blocks, and one steal. The Tigers also had 22 turnovers compared to the Lady Pirates' 17.
