Anthony Barber scored 24 points in Hampton’s 96-30 win Saturday at Gloucester, keeping the Crabbers one game behind Kecoughtan in the Peninsula District.

Barber has 1,903 points and is approaching the Peninsula district record of 1,976, set by Bethel’s Tony Rutland, who finished his career in 1994. ...

James Daniel III and Josh Davis each poured in 26 points as Phoebus earned a 69-51 victory at Bethel. ...

Britani Bryson had 18 points and 15 rebounds as host Bethel beat Phoebus 61-44, pulling away by outscoring the Phantoms 23-10 in the final quarter. ...

Younique Upchurch had 14 points and Shayanah Conwell grabbed eight rebounds to boost Warwick past visiting Menchville 51-28.
