Williamsburg Christian Academy's Keyana Brown has verbally committed to play basketball for
Brown will be a senior at Williamsburg Christian Academy next winter. She is playing for Boo Williams' 16-under elite team this spring and summer.
According to John Perkins, the athletic director and girls' basketball coach at Williamsburg Christian, Brown received multiple scholarship offers from Division I schools.
Said Perkins: "Keyana has been such a diligent worker and passionate basketball player for the past four seasons, and her hard work has paid off for her and her family with such a prestigious scholarship to play at ODU."
Brown has been named to the Daily Press all-stars for three straight seasons. The Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association named her first-team all-state in Division II. WCA finished 31-8 and Brown passed the 2,000-point career mark during the season. In the 2011-2012 season, she was named the Division II player of the year.
