The turnover on Virginia Tech's basketball staff continues with word that first-year assistant coach Adrian Autry has accepted a similar position at Dayton.
Last season, Hokies coach Seth Greenberg lost assistants Ryan Odom and Bill Courtney, Odom to an assistant's gig at Charlotte, Courtney to the big-whistle job at Cornell.
An All-Big East point guard at Syracuse, Autry joined Greenberg's staff in 2008 as director of operations. He held that position two seasons before Greenberg promoted him a year ago in the wake of Odom and Courtney's departures.
Courtney was with the Hokies only one year, having succeeded Stacey Palmore, who left for an assistant's job at Georgia.
Greenberg's staff now includes James Johnson, a four-year veteran, and former Woodside High coach John Richardson, who just completed his first season with Tech. Greenberg is also searching for an operations director to replace Dennis Wolff, hired last month as the Hokies' head women's coach.
