Restaurants arond San Diego County roll out new items to fill growling bellies. Check out these offerings:

Cusp Dining and Drinks executive chef Ingrid Funes has introduced new dishes. Guests can try starters like the butter lettuce salad with Serrano ham or pulpo a la plancha (grilled octopus) with heirloom tomato, radish, pesto, glazed balsamic, crispy garbanzo beans and olive tapenade; and entrees like California steelhead trout or roasted New York steak with grilled maitake mushrooms. 7955 La Jolla Shores Drive, La Jolla. Pacifica Del Mar offers new menus all around, including a fresh lunch menu with New England clam chowder. The Smoking Goat in North Park has launched a Summer Happy Hour food and drink menu. A rotating selection of rosés are priced at $5 per glass, and a flight of 3 2-ounce pours is $5. Mission Avenue Bar and Grill’s new executive chef, William Eick (formerly of 608), has unveiled a new menu with dishes like bacon dumplings with cashew mole, celery and smoke tare (dipping sauce) and spicy sweet short ribs with panang curry.
