It's always election season in Los Angeles. On November 4, voters go to the polls for the historic presidential election, plus perhaps a dozen state ballot measures, including an initiative to forbid same-sex marriage. On March 3, 2009, it's the first round for the mayor and other city officials followed closely by the final round, on May 19. Check here often for updates with an opinionated twist.
