Adapted from the 1975 film "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," "Monty Python's Spamalot" parodies the legend of King Arthur's quest to find the Holy Grail. While in both productions King Arthur travels the land to recruit his Knights of the Round Table and battles the Black Knight, there are various differences between the movie and the musical. "Spamalot" ran on Broadway from 2005-09 and grossed over $168 million. It won three of its 15 Tony Award nominations, including musical.
