OK, admit it -- you were scared senseless by William Peter Blatty's 1971 novel and the 1973 movie starring Linda Blair. But just wait until July at the Geffen Playhouse when the spooky tale of a young girl possessed by demons and the priests who try to save her will be turned into a stage production. The world premiere, written by "Agnes of God" playwright John Pielmeier and staged by Tony Award-winning director John Doyle ("Sweeney Todd"), runs through Aug. 12. No word yet on whether there will be any spinning heads or projectile vomit.
