Holland Island

One of two remaining cemeteries on Holland Island. A third has disappeared under the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLREC000053" title="Chesapeake Bay" href="/topic/us/maryland/chesapeake-bay-PLREC000053.topic">Chesapeake</a> Bay. The last house on the island has collapsed after strong winds last weekend brought it down, according to the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORNPR000021" title="Chesapeake Bay Foundation" href="/topic/environmental-issues/chesapeake-bay-foundation-ORNPR000021.topic">Chesapeake Bay Foundation</a>.
