2200 Boston St., Canton 410-675-7077, sipandbite.com Open 24 hours, Wednesday-Monday For more than 60 years, Sip & Bite has been among the handful of 24-hour diners within the city limits. And until this past year, very little has changed there. When Sip & Bite was featured on Guy Fieri's TV show "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives," it prompted the owners to spruce the place up a little. Despite the updated exterior, new paint job on the inside and a small cartoon painting of Fieri's face on the wall, Sip & Bite's late-night atmosphere and no-frills diner menu remain the same. After area bars close for the night on weekends, Sip & Bite is jam packed with the loud and rowdy, so come expecting to wait in line for a table and have your patience tested at times by the clientele on a Friday or Saturday night. Once you're seated and that gigantic Meat Lover's Omelet ($4.95) with home fries and toast arrives at your table, it's well worth the wait. Same goes for the piping hot Chicken Kabob Platter ($7.95), piled high with rice pilaf, grilled veggies and tzatziki sauce. Sip & Bite's traditional diner fare is second to none. Even on weeknights, it's easily one of the best places to have a late-night breakfast in Baltimore.
