'Rock of Ages' -- 2 stars

<b>PG-13; 2:03 running time</b><br><br> This painless but oddly indistinct screen version of the stage show, built around two dozen songs made famous by Jon Bon Jovi, Foreigner, Poison and others, has most of its novelty wrapped up in the casting of Tom Cruise as a Dionysian rock god.
