'Frankenweenie' (Oct. 5)

Back when Reagan was president, Tim Burton made a short film called "Frankenweenie," about a man, his late dog and his successful yet destructive attempts to resurrect the animal. Now comes Burton's full-length stop-motion animated expansion of the story, presented in both 3-D and black-and-white. Catherine O¿Hara, Martin Short and Winona Ryder provide some of the voices.
